highlights

From decades, MAURIC has designed many high-quality Workboats. These vessels are seen to be practical and seaworthy tools for both coastal operations and offshore applications. As for the MAURIC buoy tender range, the Workboats can make many operations at sea such as maintenance or installation of equipment, survey, tender or ROV launch and recovery, lifting, etc. These vessels are usually fitted with a high capacity deck crane and a large working deck, close to the waterline, large and comfortable crew accommodation and wheelhouse, etc. in order to comply with the requirements of owner (maritime operators, harbour authorities or offshore companies). Thanks to their strengthened deck and crane, they can also be proposed for any mission of work at sea, where it is required to propose a vessel with deck load storage capacity and lifting at sea.

MAURIC Workboats are well known for their reliability and seaworthiness. They can also be designed for high manoeuvrability performances and proposed with joystick systems or even Dynamic Positioning when required by the owner. Efficiency and safety are the key words for MAURIC Workboat designs. 24m Hybrid barges for French Navy are an example of innovative solution of Workboat built and sea-proven to comply with Zero-Emission mode requirement for operation in harbour or coastal areas.

MAURIC Workboats are designed and built in Steel or Aluminium, depending of Owner’s requirements. On the basis of its sea-proven designs, MAURIC proposes customized solutions with various type of speed, propulsion arrangement, engines, superstructure arrangements. A wide selection of options can be proposed to adapt the vessel to owner' requirements.
