Fireboats are highly specialized vessels equipped with a complex system of pumps and nozzles designed for fighting shoreline and shipboard fires. Often used also for rescue duties, Fireboats tend to be polyvalent vessel operating in sheltered or coastal areas. As emergency assets, they shall be highly reliable and ready for departure in very short time. MAURIC’s expertise in robust and practical workboats coupled with our extensive know-how in the Search and Rescue boats design allows us to offer safe, efficient and reliable Fire Boat designs to coast guards, private companies or harbour authorities.

Special attention is given to the ergonomic of the deck arrangement to facilitate and secure the operations of fire fighters onboard whatever are the sea conditions. Our naval architects and marine engineers are capable to integrate adapted fire fighting equipment (pumps and monitors) onboard sea-proven hull forms to achieve high level of operability. We design our Fire Fighting boats as multipurpose vessels able to carry a variety of security and emergency missions in harbours, terminals and offshore installations.

With reference fire boat vessels operating in French Navy and Marseille Firefighter squads, we offer “fire-provendesign solutions of 20m to 25m, with steel hull, fire monitors with high flow capacity (up to 16 000 L/min) and additional equipment for diver support or rescue operations.
