Since 1945 and its creation by André MAURIC, the famous Pen Duick VI and Alcyone's naval architect, MAURIC has developed from a single person company into a Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering multi-disciplinary and multi-services company.
MAURIC is organized with a management and a supervisory board. Vincent SEGUIN, François SEBILO and Fabrice GHOZLAN are members of the executive board.
MAURIC‘s team is located close to its main and historical clients, with two offices, one in Marseille, on the French Mediterranean coast and the other in Nantes, close to the Atlantic coast. Constituted by highly skilled and passionate naval architects, marine engineers and draughtsmen, our team is distributed in the two offices. Specific project's team are built up around a project manager selecting key competences from both offices in relation with the size and the objectives of the project.
Our people are mainly polyvalent engineer and naval architects able to tackle internally most of the fields of naval architecture such as: General design, general layout, hull lines, stability, hydrostatics, propulsion, seakeeping, manoeuvrability, structure design and calculation, technical integration, Co-ordination, accommodation studies, design studies, budget and cost studies.
Depending on the needs of our customers, MAURIC can also rely on a trusted network of partners and subcontractors to create a project team covering the different fields of expertise required by the project (for instance piping, acoustic insulation, detailed electrical system definition, ergonomics experts, interior designers…).

We developed a client-oriented organization fully dedicated to the objectives of our clients, either shipyards or shipowners. Our polyvalent and experienced people can assist you from concept studies up to building supervision and system integration works. For all our projects, our philosophy leads us to accompany the shipyards and shipowners during the complete building process up to final sea trials.
We are not delivering plans, we are delivering ships. As naval architects, we are responsible for the performances of the vessels and as such we are with our clients until complete satisfaction. This experience of our people in the shipyards following up the building process allows us to offer technical assistance for system integration up to project contracting with full responsibility.
